Makhadzi- A Beautiful South African Artist

Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, known by her stage name Makhadzi is a South African female vocalist conveying her music to the world in the genres of Dance/Venda Pop.

Makhadzi is a singer, dancer and an entrepreneur.

Ealy Life and Musical Beginnings

Makhadzi was born on 30, June, 1996, in Ha-Mashamba, Limpopo.

After the separation of her parents, she and her two younger siblings moved to stay with their mother. She attended Mukula Integrated School. Makhadzi obtained her qualifications in Public Relations and currently studying drama.

Career

Prior to her becoming a musician, Makhadzi used to perform at Taxi ranks, getting money from people’s offering. She later joined a music group, Makhirikhiri, as a dancer.

She later moved fully into music after she left the dancing group.

Makhadzi gained attention after the release of Tshanda Vhuya in 2017. Her eight studio album Matorokisi debuted at number two in South Africa in 2019.

She was previously signed to the following record labels:

  • Rita Dee Entertainment
  • Open mic Productions

She is currently in her own record label, Makhadzi Entertainment.

In 2015, she attracted the attention of Rita Dee Entertainment and got signed and released her album, Muhwalo Uya Ndemela, the following year.

Makhadzi’s ninth studio album Kokovha became one of her biggest successes and debuted at number one on the South African iTunes albums charts.
