In the Ghanaian Female Guinness World Record Participation, a stunning lass, a wife, also a mother has depicted a nonstopable attitude towards achieving a legacy, yet unofficial that makes her stand tall in the history of Guinness World record.

Afua Owusu Asantewaa Aduonum, an astounding and goal-oriented Ghanaian media personality, broadcast journalist and the CEO of Askof Productions Ltd, organisers of the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards, the Pose For Africa Models Reality Show, and Miss Kidi Ghana.

Born on 11 May 1990, Afua Asantewaa commenced her career as a journalist and worked for several Ghanaian media companies. He unique personality characterised by resilience and hard work leveraged her to the top among her competitors in various media companies.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, is married to Kofi Owusu Aduonum, a sports Journalist with whom she has three amazing children.

In December 2023, Afua Asantewaa attempted to break the Guinness World Record of the longest individual singing marathon which lasted for 126 hours and 52 minutes. Prior to that, she announced in the early days of December that she would be attempting to break the record for the longest individual singing marathon. She commenced on 24 December 2023, at Akwaaba village, sited in Accra, Ghana. She broke the record on 28 December 2023, which surpassed that of the former Indian longest singing record holder, Sunil Waghmare who sang for 105 hours in 2012.

The occasion was star-studded. She was backed with the support and appreciation of many Ghanaians including renowned musical artists and Ghanaian starlights in Filmography and Movie. Personalities like KiDi, Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene, Obaapa Christy, Joyce Blessing just to mention a few and actors like Sakoli, Nana Ama McBrown and many others.

She was pronounced Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador as a result of the awesome step taken. She is currently the unofficial Guinness World Record holder for the longest singing marathon.
