Mercy Nnenda Chinwo as she is originally called, is known professionally in the music circle as Chinwo. She is a singer, songwriter and an actress. She conveys her music in the genres of Gospel, contemporary gospel and worship and has signed to GNTNATION UNIVERSAL MUSIC.

Early Life

Mercy was born on 5 September 1991, in Rivers State. Mercy Chinwo attended Goodwill International School and moved on to Paradise International School for her secondary education certificate.She later continued to the International Business Management Institute where she got a certificate in Human Resources Management.

Career

Mercy got a push in her music journey when she wilfully participated in a contest. She was a contestant for the second season of the show in 2012. This contest was none other than the Nigerian Idol, in which she emerged the overall best participant.

Mercy Chinwo has extended her territories by collaborating with other artists. She has collaborated with artists like Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan and a lot more.
