Di’ja as known professionally is by birth known as Hadiza Blell, (now Hadiza Blell- Olo). With her ingenuity and poise nature with touches of positively driven spirit, she is among Nigeria’s impactful female personality in the music artistry.
She is a singer as well as a songwriter who has signed the record label, Marvin Records, like many other artists conveying her music in the genres of Afrobeats, Afropop, Pop and R&B.
Early Life
Di’ja as prefer called, was born on 14, August, 1984. She has lived in Nigeria, Sierra’ Leon, the United States as well as Canada.
Her mum, Asmau’s Blell, hails from the Northern part of Nigeria and her dad, Amb Joseph Blell from Sierra Leone.
She attained a joint degree in Biology and Psychology at College.
Career
Her music career started in 2008. She released many singles including, Dan’Iska (RudeBwoy), Hold On, including How Can We Be Friends and many more.
Di’ja signed a record deal with Don Jazzy of Mavin Records. Yaro her official single under the label was released that same year. She uses a blend of Krio and Hausa in honour of her roots; Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
In 2014, this music star was featured on Dorobucci label colleagues like Dr. SID, Tiwa Savage, Koredo Bello and Reekado Banks.
