Ghanaian -South African songstress – Adina Thembi.

Ghanaian-South African singer, Adina Thembi, as she is professionally known, is undoubtedly one of the most influential women among the charts. She is officially known as Adina Thembi Ndamse born in the year 1989 on October 21.

She has a colored nationality, in a sense that, she is a Ghanaian, Liberian and a South African. She is a talented singer, songwriter, actress and a model. She was crowned winner in the reality show, Stars of the future, in 2008 held by Charter House.

She attended Wesley Girls Senior High School where she completed successfully and further proceeded to the Central University to pursue her degree.

She started singing at a very young age, but her music career really set off after being crowned winner of the above-mentioned reality show. Prior to her achievement, she joined the national theatre choir which gave her the opportunity to perform at Kidafest and Fun World Shows.

Her journey in music then commenced. She was later signed to New Africa Movement Label for the genres of Afropop, Pop and Highlife.

This sensational songstress has earned a number of awards which includes:

Artist of the year

Most Influential Female artist of the year.

Best reggae/Dancehall song of the year.

Best Hip-hop song of the year.

Record of the year.

This amazing talented feminine is no doubt one of the greatest female musicians the country is proud to call it’s own.
