Stunning and appalling South African female melodic singer, Tyla as she is known monomously by her stage name, born Tyla Laura Seethal who currently signed to Epic Records in the year 2021 for the genres of Pop and Amapiano.

Tyla was born in South Africa, Johannesburg on 30th January, 2002. She was born into a family of Zulu, Indian, Mauritian and Irish descent.

She had her matriculation from Edenglen High School in 2019 and was the school’s head of culture in that year.

She began posting on her Instagram page covers of music by artists and sometimes sent it directly to specific individuals. She was later discovered by her first manager Garth von Glehn, who organized her first recording sessions. Prior to committing fully to her music career, she was studying to get a degree in Mining Engineering

Tyla rose to fame with her hit single, “Water” which hit the top on the charts. “Water”, was the first song by a South African soloist to enter the US Billboard Hot 100 in 55 years.
