Ghana is considered the birthplace of this music genre; Afrobeat. Sadly, Afrobeat genre is sometimes mistaken for rhythm and blues or dancehall. This should not be the case since it is a distinct style of music known as Ghana Afrobeat Music which has brought forth more talented Afrobeat artists in this industry.
Ghanaian Afrobeat artists have put on their best feet in the delivery of intriguing and inspiring music despite the pressure from our sister country, Nigeria, thus pushing our country at the fore front of the continents’ music. Well, Ghana as a country has a deficit in the number of artists in it’s musical artistry which sometimes lowers it countdown, nonetheless, this country has in it talented musicians who put the country at the top of the chart if not the best.
