Issah Mari Wangui, better known by his stage name E-Sir, born on May 20, 1981 was a Kenyan Hip Hop artist and the brother of the fellow rapper Habib. He delivered thought provoking punchlines in the musical genres Kenyan Hip Hop and Kapuka rap.

Issah was infamous for his deft lyrical ingenuity and his unique command over the Swahili language. His music was a great proof to the fact that Kenyan music could compete with imported Pop.

Unfortunately at the age of 21 as he was gaining popular acclaim he had an accident at Rift Valley in Kenya which resulted to his death.

After his death he is still accorded as one of the greatest rappers in the history of Kenyan music. In 2017, he was nominated for the most Mdundo Awards for Most Downloaded Hip Hop Artist in 2017.
